I have absolutely no idea where to put this. It's like the casting list from someone's Fantasy Film.
Check this cast out: Macaulay Culkin (Michael Alig), Seth Green (James St. James), Wilson Cruz (Angel Melendez), Daniel Franzese, Lucy Liu (Alessandra), Natasha Lyonne, Marilyn Manson (Christina), Dylan McDermott (Peter Gatien), Diana Scarwid (Elke Elig), Chloe Sevigny, John Stamos, Wilmer Valderrama (DJ Keoki)
Party MonsterI'm just dumbfounded. I almost must see it because the cast is so strange and diverse.

From the people who brought you Hedwig and the Angry Inch and The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
Criminy. I think I'm in awe.

Um ... I'm not getting why that's such an odd cast. I've not heard of all of them, but the majority seem to be young, hip or hoping to be hip, actors and the movie's about clubland types in NYC. Why's it weird? Of course, if Marilyn Manson's character really was a girl and not a transvestite, that would be odd.

It's weird to see John Stamos and Wilmer Valderrama in a movie with Marilyn Manson and Macauley Culkin. Plus it's bizarre that so many names would jump at the chance to be involved in such a sordid story.

I have to admit I've never heard of 5 of the cast. Any movie with Macauley Culkin in it is bizarre.
I came in thinking I thought I could talk about Eraserhead, Stalker, Pink Flamingos and the strange Andy Warhol movie which was just a whole lot of faces.

There's an upcoming TV movie which stars Matt LeBlanc (yes, of Friends) and Eddie Izzard, as part of a group of British cross-dressing spies who face off against "wacky Nazis." It's described as a cross between Some Like It Hot and Hogan's Heroes.
There are so many points of that on which my brain stumbles and goes "ow." You want to cast Joey as a woman, that's your funeral... but as a British woman?

Ah - that explains the bizarre picture of him in drag I saw recently (Joey, that is). He made quite a pretty woman, albeit with broad shoulders.

He looked like Rose McGowan.
