A few ‘fugees have come to Nalian and I wanting to make donations to go towards running the board, and until now we’ve said no. Now we’ve decided that we will take small donations in return for useful things you might like. Don’t panic, this isn’t an emergency – we’re not running out of resources or anything.

So what we are offering is a one of a kind tvfugee.com email address! That means you can have whateveryouwant@tvrefugee.com. The package will include 5 megs max space (Hotmail offers 2 megs, Yahoo 4 megs) and both web based mail and pop3 mail. This means you can access the mail through your internet browser like you would hotmail, and/or through a program like Outlook or Eudora. We are recommending a $10 USD/yearly donation for the e-mail. We only have 30 addresses with our current package so we’ll be doing this on a first come first serve basis. If you’d like to commit to this send me a PM or post here to reserve your mailbox and indicate what you want the address to be.

If you don’t want an e-mail address but would like to donate anyway feel free to do so, but no more than $10 USD please.

Please don’t feel pressure to donate. Even if no one donates we’re not going to shut down.

Ditto. I love the idea of a tvr email address, and yet have such a multitude of email addresses already that honestly, I'm happy to just make a donattion. I've beenmeaning to get to grips with PayPal for months and once I see how my bank balance lokos after xmas, I'll be on the case. In the mean time I offer a donation of appreciation and thanks.

A Tvr email would be rather nifty, I will make some kind of donation. What's the best way to do it? And is after Xmas going to be acceptable?

I think the easiest way to do the donations is via paypal because they will worry about the whole converting it to US funds. If you don't want to do paypal and would prefer to send money via postal mail PM me and I'll give you the address - but it's up to you to make your funny colored money look like something I can pay the bills with :P

I've done PayPal before - it's really easy, and the conversion rates are the same (or close enough to) the rates you'd pay with Western Union or similar. Good choice, Veda.
